Pink Pops!

Early invitations are always great because it will give you time to prepare and avoid chaos. In my case last Saturday which, I'm sure you've noticed on Instagram and as promised here, my mom and I train traveled down south to attend her old co-worker's wedding. We were supposed to be there by Friday but unfortunately, all trips were sold out and we're lucky enough to catch the 7:30am train the next day which was Saturday, the wedding day. It was crazy running with time but fun, at least I got to spend it with mom. lol!

If you didn't know, we just moved up north Washington State last year so my mom and I basically stayed longer in Vancouver, Washington compared to where we are now. But I like it better here, I just feel a little bad for mom since she misses her friends there who treat us like family too. You can read my previous posts about my US trips years ago through the archives scroll navigator found at the lowest part, right side of my blog or simply help yourself at the search bar found at the top right side.

Since there were'nt any theme for the wedding and I'm not really sure how to dress up Romanian, I just piled these versatile pieces and created a look that reminded me of cake pops! Haha! Didn't really realize it until I saved the photos in my computer. lol. This was supposed to be an all white look, I did a quick online shopping since I've been looking for the perfect white heels like forever! I found one at Aldo and hurriedly ordered it but sadly, it didn't make it to the event so I had to stick to the Call It Spring one I have which, unexpectedly got me a lot of complements there. Even Romanian kids told me "Hey, your shoes looks cool!". I tied my hair in low pony to keep the casual feel and kept my accessories minimal. I'm not really a pink lover like my sister and most girly girls out there but I loved how I popped the color in this look. If it wasn't raining, I would've added my white cat eye sunnies that I wore here. Catch more of the event on my next post and how much we survived the Romanian language the whole time we were there. Haha!

What do you think about my look?

[Mom's top and pink coat (similar here), Mango jeans, Forever 21 accessories/clutch, Urban Outfitters interlocked necklace, Call It Spring heels, Goody ouchless elastics]
