Holiday eves are usually spent at home and even if some spend it outside the country or wherever, one thing's for sure, everyone dresses up stylish, comfortable and minimal as ever! I mean who wouldn't, right? In my case last Christmas eve, instead of the modern touch of white or blue, I managed to stick to the traditional red for one, it's my favorite color and two, I could definitely feel the spirit wearing it! Where did you spend your Christmas eve this year and how did you style yourself?
If you didn't know yet, this would be my very first Christmas, New Year, Sinulog (nooo!), Chinese New Year (nooooo!), and Valentine's Day (though hopefully not Holy Week) away from home. So can you imagine how my emotions are intensely mixed right now? I know it sucks but I'm always go for positivism so I will charm my way out of it and worry not all the way! There's still so much to be thankful for and it would be a great experience after all, right? Besides, I'm more than glad to accompany my mom this holiday. And I'm really really trying my best to give my beautiful readers something to read and inspire to, that also includes trying my best to give all of you great photos as well.
Moving on my look, I piled these apparels in modern prints together to make this ensemble very 2013. To tell you honestly since I was a kid, I was never a legging kind of girl because I'm naturally born with big thighs (I don't know why though its not too obvious if I'm in my normal weight but now I gained weight darn it! lol) and wearing leggings make me feel like my legs look fat and ugly! But when I saw these neutral and black with modern print leggings on the racks on one of the F21 stores here and saw that it's on sale, I died!! I had the guts to try it this time and not to mention, the fabric is great too! I got very good comments on it. The dress I'm wearing as a top here is actually the one I also wore here. I managed to wear comfy flats and minimal accessories in order for me to move around easily.
What do you think about my look?
