Few weeks ago, my family and I had a birthday dinner with the Lee's. You know already when occasions involving the Chinese community, color code red always calls for it. But for the first time, it was an exception that night so I immediately grabbed the opportunity although I'm still a bit closer to red. During family dinners or get together's, I always opt for something comfortable and go accessory less because c'mon, it's bonding time, right?
Speaking of comfortable, you can't deny how comfy paper bag shorts are! With the intense heat that summer brings, going loose and open (but not too much) bottoms will surely kill all that hot feeling. Paper bag shorts are one of the few unique and stylish shorts I'd prefer to have in every girls' closet especially the denim paper bags-- a must have!
I really loved how I put everything together in this look but what really did make the ensemble "united" are the matte gold accessories. I'm starting to love matte gold. It is unique and elegant despite the fact that its not shiny, sparkly and all that, it still makes a difference. Another unique shoes I could suggest are brogues, I love it because you can wear it freely whether it may be at the beach or at the street since it has open areas. (You wouldn't like wearing closed shoes the whole summer, would you?) Plus, you can style it with socks just like what I did here!
