Fall Undertones

Prior to my glaring eyes on every designer's spring/summer collection from New York Fashion Week (thats almost ending, btw!), we can never deny the fact that fall is here. Just look at the weather now and it's probably gloomy and cold in Seattle right now! Ugh! I can't wait for spring season, thanks to #NYFW for feeding my eyes with colors on these dark days. Missing the sun as much as you guys do, I still have something to embrace and love about the cold season- earth tones! I've always been attracted to them and I think it shows on the colors that you most likely see me wear, pick or talk about here. They seem so elegant yet casual, preppy yet sophisticated, and interesting. Today's look inspires you to still be able to dress up on gloomy yet humid days, and basically put a twist on your usual black and white basics!

P.S. I know you guys are waiting for my next travel post. Hang in there! It should be the next post after this. Just have to finish editing :)

When I first saw this pair of high waist shorts at Topshop, I instantly fell in love with its print and color and I've been dressing it up over and over again since then. You can recreate this look by adding green hues (I suggest emerald green would be perf!) or change to rust or tan oxfords instead of mandals.

What do you think about my look?
