Own It

This is how single ladies should dress up on Valentine's Day, not that I'm bitter but let's just say this look can be catchy enough and who knows you'll get a date for the day! lol! Kidding aside, monochromatic looks are good staples when in doubt and I do love dressing up in one. Red monochromatic looks have been styled in so many ways lately but mostly in the sleek and chic way which I would love to pull off at the right time and age. Sadly at times, we're seeing so many new styles season per season and we want to pull off our faves yet we tend to forget how to dress our age and end up looking like we're trying too hard! Today, I'll show you how to pull off one of the most popular monochrome looks around the blogosphere perfect for teenage girls and young adults in their early 20s! Sleek looks usually composes double-breasted blazers or any formal outerwear, a good pair of trousers and heels so I did a little alterations and changes to that like this cashmere blend cardigan, and high-waisted shorts keeping it age appropriate like that!

White sneaks always give an instant laid back-comfort effect and it keeps the look wholesomely young and fresh! Since its back to bipolar weather this week, you can easily take off the cardigan when it gets humid, I did the same after all the errands for the day.

What do you think about my look?

[Topshop top, H&M cardigan, From my sister Zam shorts (similar here and here), Extreme Finds accessories, Romwe hat, Chloe and Davis clutch]
