Casual Takes

While everyone's preppin' for NYFW and watching out for the releases of S/S2015 (including myself), I'm secretly stuck here with daily heavy downpours which again makes it harder to dress up. I mean, I'm glad I could wear out my favorite cardigans like what I did here but I'm totally missing out some lightweight fabrics- don't make me enumerate! lol. But as the saying goes "If you can't beat them, join 'em", I guess I got no other choice. That's actually the challenge, right? We might have been missing out tons of stuff we want or needed to do because of the rain and odd floods happening in Cebu lately but isn't it about time to look on the brighter side? How about I just did and realized that I forgot how much I love layering!

So I guess casual preppy is my thing in this kind of weather. I wore this on a Sunday lunch with family and at church but when we speak of casuals, it could most probably take us anywhere! I'm also thinking this look is best worn in school, just change the mandals into flats and you're surely good to go! The happy and enlightening colors of my Fred Perry printed top and white Mango jeans sure helped a lot in adding color but I wasn't quite satisfied yet so bring in the shimmers a.k.a gold necklaces (which I also layered, btw), metallic gold belt, gold earrings and gold specs! Aaaah! Glitz satisfied!
